Cindy in my cereal?!?!
On my most recent grocery shopping trip to the local Dominion, there was Cindy Crawford staring at me from a Special K cereal box. She's promoting some Stott Pilates DVDs.
"Collect all Three!"
"Special offer inside"
Good marketing sense, I guess. Buy three boxes of Special K, collect the DVDs and you too can look like Cindy Crawford! Who wouldnt want Cindy's comely figure?!?!
So there I was, standing in the aisle looking at the cereal boxes and reading (yes, reading!) the boxes. Kellogg's is tricky. The first CD, entitled "Core Strength and Flexibility" is available in a giant box of Special K original. The second one, "Toned Abs and Endurance" is in Special K Red Berries. The third one, "High Performance Pilates" was in the Special K Soy.
Decision time!
Do I want "to establish core strength while feeling toned agile and revitalized" or "build stamina while strengthening abs"? Hmmm, maybe i should "optimize strength flexibility and muscular endurance"?
And just to make things more complicated, do I want original Special K, Special K Red Berries or Special K Soy??
Aiyah, i just want the DVDs and to look like Cindy Crawford!!!! Do i have to eat three different boxes of cereal????
OK, maybe I dont really want to look like Cindy Crawford but i have to admit that $3.99 is pretty darn good for a pilates DVD. I have no idea how I am going to get through three boxes of Special K, though!
OH, by the way. I chose to "build stamina while strengthening abs"(Toned Abs and Endurance) and Cindy isn't even in the demo!!...
